Rebecca Griffith
Advertising & Marketing Attorney
Rebecca Griffith, a creative and business-focused advertising and marketing attorney with over eighteen years of experience, utilizes the insights gained from many years on the self-regulatory side of advertising law to proactively provide legal counsel to business clients on a consulting basis. She helps marketers from a variety of industries with claim substantiation issues related to new product development, compliance with consumer protection laws related to national advertising campaigns, and resolution of advertising disputes.
Rebecca is highly skilled in advertising claim development and support, concept analysis, claim substantiation, and risk assessment. An experienced in-house counsel, having worked at a leading global consumer products company in the food and beauty industries, as well as one of the largest technology companies in the world, Rebecca has a proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners, solving problems and helping her clients execute impactful marketing programs and campaigns.
Rebecca also has deep expertise in the advertising dispute resolution process based on her experience as a Senior Staff Attorney at the National Advertising Division. She works with advertisers to both defend and challenge claims before NAD and the National Advertising Review board.
Clients value Rebecca’s high level of responsiveness and use of sound judgement to effectively identify key issues, assess risk exposure and provide pragmatic advice to stakeholders and partners. By taking the time to understand her clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, and tolerance for risk, she is able to help them achieve their competitive goals in the marketplace with legally compliant marketing campaigns of all types, across all platforms.
Rebecca started Griffith Legal Solutions because she has a true passion for advertising law and wants to offer cost-effective support for businesses that do not need a full-time in-house lawyer, or those that are seeking assistance with special projects or product launches.
